The international group Modus Group plans to invest 30 million euros in the construction of a new solar park with a capacity of 35 MW in the Zhytomyr region. Eterna Law team of lawyers led under the leadership of Maksym Uslystyi, partner, head of alternative energy practice, acted as a legal advisor to Modus Group in Ukraine.

Maksym Uslystyi, partner and Mykhailo Lytvyn, Associate provided comprehensive legal support for this transaction, including Due Diligence, resolving relationships with local partners, development of documentation for the implementation of subsequent stages of the project, as well as direct acquisition of corporate rights for the project company for the start construction of the SPS.

The project of 35 MW in Zhytomyr region will be implemented by Green Genius and Modus Energy International, which are members of the Modus group. The construction of a new solar power plant is scheduled for the second half of 2019. The project will be implemented in the territory of the Lubarskaya town community. The park will generate about 45 GWh of electricity per year and will become the largest solar power station in the region.

 Modus group unites companies operating in the real estate, energy and auto-trading markets. The group has already implemented renewable energy projects in Lithuania and Belarus, and now works in this industry in Spain and Poland.
