ETERNA LAW have successfully represented the client's interests in the pre-trial settlement of a dispute with a well-known insurance company regarding the payment of insurance indemnity under a CASCO insurance contract.

The accident involving the client's family members occurred in the spring of 2022 in one of the EU countries. Given the cross-border nature of the case, the collection of evidence was lengthy and involved multi-stage communication with government and police authorities both in Ukraine and Germany. In addition, the insurance company disputed the validity of the driver's license of the peson who was driving the car at the time of the accident, as well as the evidence provided by the client (in particular, the opinions of foreign experts). It took about a year and a half to resolve the dispute.
