The Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission approved the members of the Expert Advisory Council on the 2nd of December.

Andrey Astapov, Managing Partner at ETERNA LAW, became a member of the Expert Advisory Council of the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission. The Commission was driven by Mr Astapov’s pivotal role in drafting the Gambling Bill, and its decision shows that he was recognised for his deep legal expertise in gambling.

The Expert Advisory Council of the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission is a permanent advisory body that was formed of experts to prepare their advisory recommendations and propositions to provide key directions to develop the government’s regulation of gambling, to address the organisation and activities of the Gambling and Lottery Regulation Commission, to determine compliance control guidance and methods and to make enforcement and improvement propositions in respect of gambling and lottery laws, to discuss and examine the most critical issues related to the formation and implementation of national gambling and lottery policies, and to supply expert opinion on gambling and lottery reforms in Ukraine.
