ETERNA LAW joined the UBA initiative and signed the joint statement with more than 70 Ukrainian law firms on the unacceptability of cooperation with international companies that have not stopped working with the aggressor country.

Further, the UBA states:

Following other UBA initiatives, more than 70 leading law firms have united and expressed their position to cease providing legal services to international companies that are still doing business and maintain their presence in russia. At the same time, we welcome all efforts of the Ukrainian management of foreign companies to convey to their head offices the need to exit the market of the aggressor country and the desire to support Ukraine with significant financial, military and humanitarian help.

Lawyers note: “Proceeding on our joint ethical, professional, and moral principles we, Ukrainian lawyers, may not understand and accept the position of international companies still doing business with and keeping their presence in Russia as diligent taxpayers contributing to the Russian war budget.”

Ukrainian firms also made similar statements individually.
