Kyiv, July 1st. Igor Semenov, Counsel, Coordinator of Assets Tracing Practice of Eterna Law participated in meeting of the International Law Committee of the UBA “Return of stolen assets”, which took place on 30th of June.
Mr. Semenov told about the role of an attorney in the search and recovery of assets. Dmitry Marchukov, partner of law firm Avellum and Lee Coles, Managing Director of Krys Global also visited the meeting.
During the meeting, participants discussed the general theory of the search and recovery of assets and the issue of practice as a new effective tool to protect the interests of the client.
Speakers shared with guests real examples from their practice.
The representatives of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau, the General Prosecutor’s Office, Ministry of Justice and Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Ukraine, as well as Transparency International, a public platform “Resuscitation Reform Package”, public figures and the media were also invited to the meeting.
