Artem Kuzmenko took part in Tech360: Policy Meets Technology

Last week, Artem Kuzmenko, a partner at ETERNA LAW, moderated an interview with Artem Romanyukov, Head of the Digital Transformation Directorate at the Ministry of Defence, as part of Tech360.

The interview discussed the digitalisation of the defence sector: how management, logistics and accounting are being digitised, and what role Ukrainian IT companies play in this.

The state is already generating concrete demand for technological solutions — and this is an entry point for businesses with practical products, rather than just ideas.

Also, during Tech360, Artem Kuzmenko took part in a roundtable discussion titled “Hostile software: project status and factors driving Ukrainian businesses to migrate to high-quality software solutions”.

“Businesses must systematically migrate critical services to certified solutions; state support will significantly accelerate this process. This will reduce the risks of cyberattacks, ensure operational stability and restore customer confidence. The transition must take place in stages: an independent audit of the IT landscape, prioritisation of critical services, pilot implementations, migration taking TCO into account, and staff training. “The state needs to provide clear standards, grant and preferential support programmes, and certification of solutions, which will enable small and medium-sized businesses to make this transition more quickly and effectively,” noted a partner at ETERNA LAW.

Tech360: Policy Meets Technology – with over 700 participants, more than 50 experts and three thematic streams – created a space for visionary discussions, moderated debates and the formulation of realistic roadmaps for IT development – in Ukraine and beyond.
