Kyiv, June 9th – Eterna Law conducted a workshop on protection of journalists’ rights. Igor Semenov, Counsel and Ilarion Tomarov, Head of IP Practice, told about legal guarantees of independent journalists, especially participating of journalists in the trials.
Representatives of leading mass media of Ukraine, among them – Interfax, Contracts, STB, Liga, attended the seminar. Inform agency Liga and Personal account acted as the media partners of the event.
In addition, the speakers of the seminar focused on issues such as value judgments, freedom from denial and the risk of non-pecuniary damage, analyzed the jurisprudence signs of deviation of actual judgment of the evaluation.
