ETERNA LAW SIGNS PRINCIPLES OF WOMEN’S EMPOWERMENT (WEPs)

We are pleased to announce that ETERNA LAW has joined the principles of women’s empowerment initiated by the UN Global Compact and the UN Women. By signing the WEPs (Women’s Empowerment Principles), we have joined the global movement for gender equality in the workplace and society, which already includes more than 3 thousand companies around the world.

The Women Empowerment Principles (WEPs) are 7 principles that serve as a guide for businesses seeking to fully respect human rights and eliminate all forms of discrimination. They include: promoting gender equality, fair treatment of men and women at work, ensuring the health, safety and well-being of all employees, promoting the education, training and professional development of women, etc.

ETERNA LAW’s Managing Partner Andriy Astapov comments:

“Today, more than 45% of the ETERNA LAW team is made up of women. For us, signing the UN Women Empowerment Principles is another step towards ensuring gender equality in the company and spreading best practices beyond its borders. We are convinced that the empowerment of women in business should move from declaring intentions to taking practical steps to overcome gender stereotypes.”
