ETERNA LAW successfully provided the legal adaptation of a contract in accordance with the standards of the European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) for one of the key producers of wooden packaging

As part of the project, ETERNA LAW’s lawyers conducted a comprehensive analysis of the contractual framework, assessing its compliance with international corporate governance standards, EBRD financial and legal criteria, and the regulatory requirements of Ukrainian legislation. Particular attention was given to the legal structure of contractual obligations, mechanisms for ensuring performance, and the regulation of parties’ liability.

The adaptation of the agreement was a prerequisite for the client’s further access to financing from the EBRD. The amendments introduced were aimed to minimizing legal risks, ensuring transparency in contractual relations, and implementing best practices in international commercial law.

The project was executed by the Corporate Law and M&A practice team at ETERNA LAW including Junior Associates Anna Myroshnychenko, Polina Gross, Associates Anton Khodosh and Anastasiia Medvedieva, under the leadership of Artem Kuzmenko, Partner.
