Kiev, June 2nd – The III Forum of Intellectual Property – leading event in the industry of IP in Ukraine, traditionally organized by newspaper “Yuridicheskaya Praktika”.
The event was held under the support of State Intellectual Property Service of Ukraine.

Ilarion Tomarov, Senior Associate, Head of Intellectual Property Practice ILF ETERNA LAW, participated in the third session and told about the circumstances, including the amount of compensation and its’ dismission (the fact of violation and offender’s fault ). Mr. Tomarov admitted the need for compensation as a tool of protection for all objects of intellectual property. He also told about the biggest compensation and how assessment of holder’s actions reduced it in 30 times.
According Tomarov, new trends of judicial practice are durable violations and abuse of the right to compensation.
