The ETERNA LAW team successfully defended the interests of a Ukrainian manufacturer in court in a dispute against the aggressor state

The ETERNA LAW team successfully defended the interests of a Ukrainian manufacturer in court in a dispute against the aggressor state, whose armed aggression caused the client damages exceeding USD 16 million due to the destruction of production facilities and lost profits.

As part of the project, the ETERNA LAW team conducted a comprehensive analysis of the client’s production cycle and business operations, together with the findings of an independent valuation expert. This enabled the team to substantiate not only the amount of actual damages resulting from the damage to and destruction of the client’s production facilities, but also the significant amount of lost profits.

Particular attention was also paid to ensuring that the defendant was duly notified of the proceedings through all available means, thereby safeguarding the fundamental procedural requirements and the principles of a fair trial under martial law.

The team working on this case included Junior Associate Eduard Beruashvili, Associate Vladyslav Korsakov, Senior Associates Artur Koval and Oleksii Metel, Counsel Lidiia Zhovtiak, and ETERNA LAW Partners Kristina Shapovalova, Oleh Malskyy, and Artem Kuzmenko.
