Eterna Law is pleased to announce the establishment of public procurement practice

Kyiv, July 18th – Eterna Law is pleased to announce the establishment of public procurement practice as part of our updated development strategy. It is the first practice of its kind in the Ukrainian legal market.

Our firm will advise bidders at every stage — we will help clients with the preparation of their bids and navigate them throughout the tender process. In addition, Eterna Law will provide continuous legal support to public procurement divisions and give individual assistance with following a specific procedure.

Public procurement legislation is constantly changing in Ukraine.  In the light of recent developments, including the newly-passed Public Procurement Act, our company will advise both procurers and contractors to prevent negative effects those changes might have on the procurement of goods, works or services.

“Today’s public procurement market is aiming for transparency. Document drafters who work in line with public procurement rules and guidelines are in high demand among the increasing number of prospective bidders.  We want to keep pace with the times and help procurement participants anticipate potential issues and devise suitable strategies to deal with them.  We are committed to do so, including on a pro bono basis, because we see this as our contribution to the country’s development,” commented Eterna Law Partner Andrey Astapov.

Senior Associate Artem Kuzmenko was appointed to head the practice. With six years of experience in corporate law and M&A, Mr Kuzmenko specialises in advising local and international companies.
