Kiev, August 22nd – Ilarion Tomarov, Senior Associate, Head of IP Practice, will speak on 3-rd all-Ukrainian IT Law School in Odessa, which will be held on September 10th – 11th.
Ilarion will tell how copyright started protection of the computer programs in 1976 and why this approach is not correct. In addition, he will describe main disputes, which have determined the value of the protection for computer programs in the key jurisdictions (USA and EU). In addition, he will give chance to discuss if it is possible to protect the format of the computer game (On the examples of the real cases).
The event is organized by Odessa representative of the Students’ League of UBA and will gather speakers and participants from all Ukraine.
