Kiev, 13th of October. Oleh Malskyy, Partner, Head of Corporate and M&A of Eterna Law and Mr. Philip Griffin, Partner, Head of Lobbying & GR Practice, participated in the IV Annual Forum of Advisers, which took place on October 12th. This is one of the key corporate profile events of the year, which joins the best lawyers in the country, as it combines not only a discussion of current trends and issues in the development of the legal business, but also the ceremony “50 leading legal departments of the country.”
The battle “Relations with external advisors” was held on the fourth session of the forum, where Mr. Malskyy and Mr. Griffin, together with Asters and Ilyashev law firms partners represented the interests of Advisers. Participants discussed how to change the process of interaction between external advisers and in-house lawyers and the importance of flexibility in communication with partners, also noted that the choice of adviser is often kind an emotional decision and is mostly based on trust to a second side.
Mr. Philip Griffin also made a comment about the importance of relationships and GR-transparent lobbying system.
The Forum concluded with an awarding ceremony of the winners of “50 leading Ukrainian law departments” ranking, where have named the best legal services in 12 – branches of economy of Ukraine and the leading legal advisers and heads of legal services.
