Eugene Blinov – Partner, Head of International Arbitration Practice

Eugene has over 18 years of experience in international arbitration and cross-border dispute resolution. His area of expertise covers agriculture, energy, mining, construction, commodities, corporate governance, IT, insurance, maritime and other sectors.

Eugene has successfully represented companies as a lead counsel at various international arbitration forums including ICC International Court of Arbitration (Paris), Arbitration Institute of the Stockholm Chamber of Commerce (SCC) , London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), Grain and Feed Trade Association (GAFTA), Federation of Oils, Seeds and Fats (FOSFA), Sugar Association of London (SAOL), Refined Sugar Association (RSA), ad hoc arbitrations according to the arbitration rules of the London Maritime Arbitrators Association (LMAA), Vienna International Arbitral Centre (VIAC), London Metal Exchange, International Commercial Arbitration Court at the Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce and Industry and others. Eugene has been managing projects on cross-border litigation involving courts in over 30 jurisdictions.

Eugene Blinov has been recognized for many years in the area of international arbitration by Chambers and Partners, Legal 500 EMEA, BestLawyers and other reputable international and Ukrainian directories. Eugene has been included to Legal 500 CIS and Caucasus Arbitration Powerlist representing the leading arbitration practitioners in the region. In 2019 Eugene was awarded with a leading Ukrainian award Yuridicheskaya Premiya in the category international arbitration.

Mr Blinov is included to the lists of arbitrators of Ukrainian Arbitration Association, Cyprus Arbitration and Mediation Centre and Permanent Court of Arbitration at the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of Ukraine.
