Moscow, August 30th, – Moscow office of Eterna Law successfully acted for European insurance company Credimundi NVSA member of Credendo group in a dispute. Insurance company Credimundi sued for a large coal company JSC “Southern Kuzbass Coal Company” subrogation on insurance payment in respect of the obligation breached by non-payment of the amount due for the supply of goods.
During the trial, a team of Eterna Law lawyers achieved a recovery in addition to the principal amount and the penalty set by the contract, and interest for late payment, increasing the amount of initial claims by nearly of USD 140 thousand USD. The demands for USD 987 550 26 are fully satisfied.
In this case, legal team was able to withdraw from the dispute under the arbitration clause that refers to the arbitration court in London and get a positive decision in the first instance court of the Russian state (the Arbitration Court of the Kemerovo region).
