Oleh Beketov was instructed by Hogan Lovells on behalf of Claimant in these proceedings – the Bank and provided written and oral evidence on key aspects of Ukrainian law that were the subject of the dispute. According to the Judgment in this matter (issued by the English Court on July 30, 2025) his expert opinion helped the court to form an objective view on applicable principles of Ukrainian law as well as complex legal issues on which the experts appointed by the parties disagreed.
